Currently CEO of Telelingua USA, LLC – Telelingua services its clients with multi-lingual needs by dovetailing the translation/localization process into the customer’s own processes.  Telelingua’s clients are in the medical device & pharmaceutical industries, including education, market surveying and advertizing. 

Prior to Telelingua, Mr. Mellet was VP of Technology at Berlitz International where he developed a financial and marketing infrastructure to coordinate the activities of Berlitz’ 400 schools world-wide.

Mr. Mellet first got his feet wet on the translation vendor side in 1995 where he was the director of sales and marketing for Mendez Translations in Brussels, Belgium.  At the time, Mendez had strategic relationships with Medtronic, CR-Bard, Sanofi, and other top Life Sciences companies where he learned the processes and procedures for projects demanding regulatory procedures.

Mr. Mellet spent 7 years working for Unisys Corp. in Brussels Belgium as its director of the International Engineering Center.

In the first 9 years of his career, Mr. Mellet worked in the development of machine translation systems at Logos Corp., where he was responsible for the development of its English to French system.

Hector Baraona, VP, Operations - Mr. Baraona has over 25 years of professional experience in the translation and software localization industry. Mr. Baraona heads all production operations at Telelingua, including the Med/Pharma practice where he oversees and continues to enhance the processes and procedures to meet and surpass regulatory compliance.  Mr. Baraona possesses a complete functional and technical background in ERP, Data Warehousing design & prototyping, Customer Relationship Management systems, Content Management Systems, Internet/E-Commerce and has put this experience to good use to enhance the storage, the evolution and the retrieval of regulatory data for Telelingua’s customers. 

Prior to joining Telelingua in 2003, Mr Baraona was a Sr. consultant for Insage.com, reporting, assisting in the integration of three companies focused on delivering processes Methodology for Multi Lingual WEB development, global eCommerce and building integration and rollup strategies for large multinational companies in the North America with existing disparate monolingual sites.  Mr. Baraona also worked for Berlitz International where he held several senior level positions around the world, ranging from Director of Corporate Systems and Infrastructure, Director of Operations in Latin America and Director of Production in South East Asia.  Mr. Baraona has directed various system development and support teams and has been an active contributor of strategic & tactical planning methodologies and tools.  Mr. Baraona holds a Dual Masters degree from Columbia University, School of Engineering and Applied Science in Oceanography and Computer Systems Engineering and has completed graduate coursework in Systems engineering from Universidad Católica de Chile.
